The story of Robin Hood was written in the late medieval period, around the 15th century, by various anonymous authors.
Robin Hood was faithful to King Richard.
The Legend of Robin Hood was a 1975 BBC television serial that told the story of the life of Robin Hood. The possibility that there was a person on whom the life of Robin Hood is based is actually high. The legend however is very likely embellished beyond accuracy.
Robin Hood was a character in English folklore. He has been played by many actors, many of whom are handsome...some not so much.
"Robin Hood stole from the rich and gave to the poor." That's the usual line, and it's misleading. Robin Hood didn't "steal from the rich". He attacked the king's tax collectors, taking money back for the people from whom it was "stolen" (taxed). Robin Hood was fighting unjust taxation, not "wealth".
http://www.historic-uk.com/HistoryUK/England-History/RobinHood.htm Robin Hood was both; that is, he was a real person about whom fictional stories were made. I base my novel The Robin Hood Chronicles on the earliest sources, which are ballads dating from about the 14th century. In one of them King Edward -- most likely Edward II -- makes Robin Hood one of his yeomen. Edward II actually did have a valet and porter named Robyn Hod. My novel blends the stories in the ballads with what information is actually known about Robyn Hod; it's a half-serious attempt to re-create in fiction what may be the actual facts behind the Robin Hood legend.
My novel The Robin Hood Chronicles is based on the earliest ballads, which are the oldest sources of information about Robin Hood, and on the life story of a real Robyn Hod, whom I identify with the hero of the ballads for reasons I explain in the Afterword of my book. The real Robyn Hod was a retainer of Thomas, Earl of Lancaster, who attempted to overthrow King Edward II in 1322. Thomas was defeated at the battle of Boroughbridge, and Edward declared all the soldiers who fought under Thomas outlaws. Some of the soldiers went to sea to avoid being hunted down and killed by Edward's soldiers; others, like Robyn Hod, remained in England and lived as best they could.
Robin dies by bleeding out. He goes to a healer woman with either Will Scarlet or Little John (varies) because he was ill. Now the story again varies on whether is was the healer woman to bled him more than she should have (a common practice) for pay. His last words was bury me where my last arrow falls.

Well if you think about it- neither one is correct as it would be: To whom have you written to. or What have you written. or It says that you have written..... I hope this helped xx
Robin Meade married Tim Yeager (to whom she is still married) on Nov. 6, 1993.
The indirect object is "you" in the sentence "What gave you the idea for your story?" It indicates to whom the idea was given or for whom the idea was intended.
