OR put peanut butter on it, the oil should help it just slide off. :)

∙ 12y agoDON'T cut it out and DON'T use peanut butter because You will have to wash that out and it's a mess! Spray child's HAIR DETANGLER into the gummy area. Something in the solution will dissolve the gum and it slips right out wheather it's fresh or hard as a rock. It's quick, easy and YOU DON'T HAVE TO WASH IT OUT like peanut butter because it's meant to be left on the hair and it will make you child's hair smell nice too! Some of you may already own this, but it's worth a trip to the store for some in a pinch. This really does work. I've used it several times and with different brands. I used peanut butter once and I wouldn't recommend it if you have an option.

∙ 14y agothe best way to get gum out of your hair is to put an ice pack around it for ten or more minutes this is because the gum goes hard and it comes off in one peice
