How do you get in Poseidon's lair in poptropica?

Poseidon's throne room is to the right of the Hydra cave. Go immediately right when you get to the Hydra cave. You will see a part of rock that sticks out. That needs to be moved out of the way before you can get the trident. Hercules has to stomp on it.

you go to temple grove, past Hades ditch, in the water, swim to the right and there it is. But to get to Poseidon's realm, you must click on the starfish on his statue's face and put it on Poseidon's offering pedestal. sorry about all those fancy words, but it is what those items are called

if you want to get to it you go to the place were you scrub the Griffie off go through the door (you need to find a star fish and place on small pillar) to the beach, go left to the water were you see bubbles dive down to find Poseidon you go (have to have Hercules follow you) down to the left to the right there is a monster you can get an item for Zues there, you talk to Poseidon and he'll give you his trident.
