How do you get in to your fuse panel to your 89 Plymouth reliant K?

look at the bottom of your steering column... there is like a plain plastic space that's like a foot and a half wide... run both your hands down it,till you reach the bottom and curl your fingers around the inside on the bottom... grip the plastic( not the metal framework) and gently pull the plastic tin the direction your ankles are...should pop right off, and the fuses are on the left...
by the way i hate my 89 reliant
