Mano in Spanish means "hand". I believe you mean Mono, which is short for mononucleosis. Mononucleosis was dubbed the "Kissing disease" because it transmits very easily orally. It is caused by the Epstein-Barr virus, a type of herpes virus, to which more than 90% of adults have been exposed. The symptoms are sore throat, extreme fatigue, sore and achy muscles, loss of appetite and weight. The virus has a long incubation period, 4-7 weeks, and the symptoms last 2 weeks to a month, sometimes longer. Since mononucleosis is a virus, it cannot and should not be treated with antibiotics. There is a drug by the name of valacyclovir, which has shown to reduce or eliminate the presence of the Epstein-Barr virus.
Mononucleosis is a contagious disease.Depression is a mood disorder; it is not contagious at all. Both can make you feel very tired and sluggish, but other than that, they are not alike at all.

Infectious diseases involve a causative organism, from groups such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, and such. Noninfectious diseases involve causes other than specific infectious organisms.
In general, yes, it is safe. However, you will want to take extra precautions, especially if you are traveling alone. 1) Mononucleosis is known as the "kissing disease" but can be transmitted via other means. Airports and airplanes can be hotbeds for spreading infectious disease. Be sure to protect others around you even more vigilantly than normal (when sneezing/coughing or when the stewardess takes your trash that may have your fluids for example). 2) Your spleen is typically enlarged when you have mononucleosis and strenuous activity such as heavy lifting can lead to rupture. As humbling it may be, don't take risks with lifting baggage, even for short distances or heights. Ask someone to assist you with checking and claiming bags and using the overhead compartments. 3) Make sure you're up for it. Mononucleosis can be extremely deliberating, making even the most menial tasks difficult. Travel of any sort is stressful and will increase substantially with mononucleosis. Weigh your symptoms vs the purpose of your travel. Don't forget that your illness may interfere with your plans once your reach your destination and consider whether the making the trip is worth the effort in the first place.

Making out is when you stick your tongue in the other persons mouth and so on. Another way is kissing for a long time. If you realize you have been kissing for abnormally longer than you have been making out. Making out is kissing but better, french kissing can be involved and also kissing the neck and way more! Look on types of kisses.:)
