You don't. A PS3 has WiFi, but you must purchase the internet service before the PS3 can have a connection. You use that same internet service for your PC. WiFi is the ability to pick up the internet wirelessly from your internet service only of you also have a wireless modem or router
A PC is not involved in the use of the PS3. I don't even know how you would use the PC with a PS3. I have both and they are both connected to the internet. If you are asking how do you use a PS3 without internet and using the word PC for the internet it does not require the internet to use the PS3 it just gives the PS3 the ability to do more and to make sure the PS3 and the games have updates. Of course without the internet you can only play offline
I'm not sure what you mean by hook. The PS3 uses it's own internet connection with an ability to connect to the internet using WiFi or an ethernet cable only and needs a TV or HDTV for Audio and Video not a computer monitor. You certainly can not run your PS3 using the computer as a controller or otherwise play PS3 games with your PC somehow using the PS3 as a part of the PC.
Answer no of course not. you don't even have to know what a PC is to connect a PS3 to the internet and it is connected to the modem or router no it can be plugged in to the phone line PS3 can not be connected to the internet with dial up WIRELESS INTERNET
I don't see how you PS3 USB does not connect to the internet and it is for a PC and not a PS3
The PS3 does not connect to the internet using the USB port on the PS3. You must connect with either WiFi or an ethernet cable. The USB port on the PS3 is not designed to provide the PS3 with an internet connection and nothing connected to it will allow the PS3 to be connected to the internet
No the World of Warcraft is a Windows and Mac PC game and can not be played on the PS3.
No even the PS3 internet is not as good as the PC and many sites are not accessible
If for instance you have a PC connected to the internet with an ethernet cable at a cable modem you can unplug the ethernet cable to the PC at the modem and Plug in a ethernet cable from the PS3 to the modem and a connection to the internet is possible. If the PC and PS3 are close enough you can just unplug the PC ethernet cable at the PC and move it over to the PS3. The first time you do this you need to go to the PS3 network setting and auto set the network settings. When you are done using the PlayStation 3 you just unplug the ethernet cable for the PS3 from the modem and plug the PC cable back into the modem for the PC to go back online or switch the cable back if it was close enough. When you get tired of doing this just purchase a router and plug the PS3 and PC into the router and plug the router into the modem.
All games players that play PS3 online play on the internet through PS3 and PlayStation Network. The PS3 can also access the web and you are very limited with what you can browse compared to a PC.
Many items on the internet require additional programs not on the PS3 so a PS3 can not browse like a PC
5 minutes on the ps3 but if your talking about PC i can't help you
PS3 requires Broadband internet service or DSL and can not be connected to a phone or USB wireless adaptor using the USB ports in the front of the PS3. Dial up will not work for the PS3. Just because you have an acceptable connection for a phone or computer does not mean that it will work to connect the PS3 which requires a high speed connection from cable or DSL
