How do you get into middle school?

It depends on the school, most either involve a lottery system, a weighed lottery or audition. Though some magnet schools admission process involves taking an academic quiz. Bellow I have also included more information, incase you want specifics.

Lottery Systems: In the lottery system each potential students fills out some basic paper work and then has there name placed into the lottery. After all submissions have been received (there is a deadline), peoples name will be pulled out of the lottery. The number of people selected is based on the number of open spots

Weighed Lottery: A weighed lottery is identical to a tradition lottery with only one exception. You can get more then one entry if you meet a certain criteria/s, usually things that can give you extra entry's consist of things like a certain GPA the year before applying or going to a school that feeds into the magnet school.

Audition: Auditions are only used as a process for admission for creative and performing arts. The auditions consist of showing your ability for what you are applying (such as singing or performing a monologue) and often include other things such an interview.
