You have to make the mashes and to get carrot you need a meadow. Go to the store and buy a meadow and carrot seeds. Then you go to your meadows and click grow crops and plant the carrot seeds. Then you wait! :)

You can advertise your EC in the equestrian center classifieds forum. Detail what you can offer such as price per night, if you have carrots and mashes, lesson payout and skill gains and so on.

You should get 18m boxes, 100% fertile clean meadows, flax bedding for the boxes, get your comps running, get good horses in your EC, 100% health care, carrots, and health mashes.

It causes a massive energy and health drop. You need to put your horse to bed, give it energy mashes, health mashes, and turnips or carrots. Otherwise, your horse may die. Go to equestrian center > meadows > make mash. That will tell you how much of each crop you need to grow to make mashes. Once you have the right amount of crops, go back to the meadows/ make mash page and prepare your mashes.

You can find out if a center has health mashes by looking at the icons next to the name of each center. If there is a red rectangular-shaped icon next to the name of a center, it means the center has at least one health mash in stock. You cannot buy health mashes from any of the shops on Howrse and you can only give a health mash to your horse if your horse's health is lower than 100%.
