How do you get married on harvest moon a wonderful life on GameCube?

After you get either Celia, Muffy, or Nami to fall in love with you(check diaries for 4 hearts), the harvest sprites will give you a blue feather, which you propose to them when the have four hearts or they will not except. Also, you will need to still give them gifts until the next year(you propose in fall, keep up your gift giving until winter is over and it is Spring first).
