Killing lots and lots of thugs or crate farming which involves running around through the most convenient route to get as many crates as possible and as short a time as possible. Either way will take a lot of luck or time. Another possible answer is to ask a friend with it to create a new character based off the one with the gun (it is an option in create character menu) then they give you the weapon and you eill both have it. I have used this to get all Unique legendaries in the game with very little effort THANK YOU RIPBURGER hahaha good luck.
