I'm pretty sure it's wireless in terms of connecting to your router. The xbox 360 was wireless in later models and so it would be a massive step back if XboxOne had to have cables to connect to the router - so I'm pretty confident it can wirelessly connect :) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yes the XBOX ONE gaming console can connect to the internet through wireless, as it has a built in wireless adapter. As Zezima has said: "The xbox 360 was wireless in later models".
If you can reach your router or motem with an ethernet cable, then you are fine. But if you cannot, you will need to buy a wireless adapter. If you have an Xbox 360 Slim, then you do not need to buy a wireless adapter, since it already has it built in.
It's a device to attach to the your Xbox so it can connect to your network without the need for cables. Many more recent consoles come with the wireless adapter built in. I would still recommend wired if you have a choice as it's much faster and more reliable.
if you are willing to spend a little more you can get an adapter for wireless controllers, but a wired works the same.
The iPods great and all but theres more fun with the xbox equipment.
It can only be used with the Xbox. It is also more difficult to setup than this: http://images.bestbuy.com/BestBuy_US/en_US/images/abn/2009/com/pcon/netgear_pwrline/netgear_powerline.swf http://www.bestbuy.com/site/NETGEAR+-+Powerline+Ethernet+Adapter+Kit/8919708.p?id=1214004487426&skuId=8919708&st=powerline I highly recommend powerline instead of the wireless adapter for simplicity, security, and reliablility sake.
You can buy a device that makes it wireless so that way it will be wireless but it will run about 90 or so dollars and you can more then likely buy them at any store that sells an Xbox.
There is no way to get Mystery Gift without using the Wireless Adapter. Sadly, the events for Pokemon Emerald are expired and there will be no more events for this game.
If you get internet at home, talk to that provider. Most companies that provide regular internet also provide wireless. You'll also need a cable/DSL router, a wireless adapter, and a powerline adapter. Search cnet.com for more information about this process if you want to learn more.
The most common type of wireless network adapter is one that is plugged into a USB port of a computer. It offers more convenience than a PCI wireless adapter card, which has to be placed inside a special slot on a motherboard of a computer. Something users may not be aware of is the maximum speed and compatibility of their wireless network adapters. For example, an adapter with 802.11g technology that is connected to a wireless router that uses 802.11 n technology will only get a maximum speed of the G band technology. For maximum performance, it is recommended to use an adapter that has the same 802.11 technology as the wireless router.
Usually you can't. Most TVs use propitiatory wireless adapters. They are more expensive too.
Any xbox is able to connect to live. You would probably want to purchase a wireless adapter for it ($99 I think. Has to be the xbox wireless adapter), unless your xbox will be very close to your cable/dsl modem or router and have a spare wired network cable to run from the xbox to the network. Also, the Elite xbox has HDMI 1080p support (high definition), while the other versions only have 720p and no HDMI. One more thing; it's $49 a year to play on xbox live, or $8 a month I believe (I have the yearly subscription so I'm not sure on the monthly price.)
