Not if there are arrears of more than $2500. If there is a legitimate reason, such as unemployment, the obligor can still file for a reduction in them. Most Child Support obligors do not know there is free help from the state, by federal law, to obtain a modification. At the minimum, a motion should be filed to have any interest penalties set aside, which can double or triple the amount owed. Of the total media "reported" amount of child support owed, 83% if interest penalties and not unpaid child support.
It will require an approved motion to the courts to release the freeze of the license.
It depends on the state. In most states, drivers license and vehicle registration privileges can be suspended or revoked if you owe back child support.
There are states that will suspend your license because of back child support, so yes.
Not if it was suspended for non-payment. I suggest you contact the State's child support agency to work out a payment plan.
No Because the President have to go to the bathroom.
yes, see link
As soon as you and the State agree on a payment plan.
Motion the court for it see links below
In some jurisdictions there is no SOL on child support arrearages. In some states the SOL is ten years after the child support order ends. You need to check the laws in your state and you need to pay your arrearages in order to get your license reinstated. In some jurisdictions there is no SOL on child support arrearages. I doubt there were many child support laws back then. Normally, only the custodial parent of the child can file for child support, not the actual child.
