Costumes are a Halloween tradition in the United States. You can get a costume in a number of ways. Many retail stores, such as Target or Walmart, will sell costumes in their stores around Halloween. There are other stores as well, such as Party City, that will have lots of costumes in stock for Halloween. You can also get a costume from online sources- like Amazon.com. But you have to make sure the costume will ship before Halloween! It won't do you any good if you buy a costume a week before Halloween, if it won't come in the mail for two weeks.

My favorite way to get costumes is by making them. A lot of times costumes are really expensive to go buy, unless you go to a second hand store like Goodwill. Pick your favorite movie character, videogame character, singer or really anything you enjoy and find bits and pieces of clothes you can put together to create the look.
