They have an anti-siphon device, as most modern cars do. You'd have to drop the fuel tank and drain it.
In the gas tank you have to drop the tank out to get to it
It Does Not Have A Gas Tank Drain Plug. You Will Have To Siphon The Gas Out. Or Drop The Tank With It In It. GOOD LUCK
yes
When I need to empty a fuel tank I remove the filler neck assembly and slip a siphon hose into the tank. Take extra care not to allow dirt and rust drop into the tank.
It's located in the fuel tank. You have to drop the tank to access it. It's a pain, but it can be done, i did it myself in about 2 hours. The only hard part is siphoning out the remaining fuel. You need to remove the partial rubber hose just outside of the tank and insert you siphon there. The fuel filler neck is too long to insert any siphon hose down inside.
It is not possible to siphon from that vehicle, you either have to run it out with the fuel pump or drop the tank. To run it out with the fuel pump you have to unhook a line and start the pump with a scan tool.
you have to take the tank out and drain it then use something to dry it out-+ Siphon out as much as you can, then drop the tank if necessary to get out as much as possible.
You can not siphon from that tank. You have to remove the tank and pump to drain.
Remove the filler neck assembly then wiggle a siphon hose down into the tank. Be careful not to allow dirt and crud get into the tank.
A siphon hose down the the fill tube.If you don't have one of those, any hose will do but you'll have to suck on it to get the siphon running.TIP: spit, don't swallow
In order to siphon the fuel out of the tank you need to remove the fill hose from the tank. The hose is difficult to get to but it can be done. Once the fill hose is removed you can then slip your siphon hose into the tank. Try not to allow any dirt to get into the tank during the process.
