Avoid getting it dirty in the first place.
The easiest way to do this is to keep it picked up and clean as you go. Look behind you when you leave to be sure nothing is out of place and wipe up messes and take all food and dishes back to the kitchen. Regularly doing the laundry weekly will also keep it from getting to be a huge out of hand job.
Avoiding the problem just creates more stress in your life that you don't need, including the nagging and so on. I know I tried it both ways and really, it was faster and easier in the long run to manage it on my own by having some personal discipline.

Keep putting it off say i will take the dog for a walk or get a friend to call the house or go in to your room and put the music on or go out stuff like that!

- Shove everything under your bed
- Really quick ask your friend to invite you over, it's a "crisis" or "she needs help with homework, she missed a few days, you'll clean your room after"
- Write a contract saying how you never have to clean your room again if they sign the paper, rip the top part of the paper off or fold it over so only the 'sign here' line is showing, tell them it's a stupid thing for school the show them what they signed.
