Normally when you defeat the mini-bots and Director D, the game returns you to the Spy Headquarters for your Island Medallion. However, there is a bad glitch which can halt the program when you are battling the mini-bots or Director D. They will just "freeze up" instead of chasing you. The only way to fix this is to reboot your browser, which means you have to beat the lasers again in the hideout sequence. (see related question)

There is nothing you can do if the Mini-bots freeze up. You will probably have to reboot Poptropica and do Spy Island over -- you may get to keep your items. Before you reboot, try this: leave the satellite using the transporter, go back to Main Street, and leave Spy Island. Then come back and return to the satellite using the transporter. This has occasionally de-glitched the island.
