There is nothing you can do if the Mini-bots freeze up. You will probably have to reboot Poptropica and do Spy Island over -- you may get to keep your items.
Before you reboot, try this: leave the satellite using the transporter, go back to Main Street, and leave Spy Island. Then come back and return to the satellite using the transporter. This has occasionally de-glitched the island.
On spy island there are these robots that B.A.D. boss Director D sends after you. To defeat them, make them follow you to the platforms, and then they become electrocuted
On spy island, you stop B.A.D. and its leader Director D.
No, the guards can always beat you up. The first spy you rescue seems to have no problem jumping one of them, though. Use the Chameleon Suit wherever guards try to stop you. When you stop moving, you are invisible.
Once you defeat the satellite robots, you will be back at the Headquarters and receive your Island Medallion. You are also promoted to Director of the spy agency. (see related question)
If you see those yellow round circles, you run to each of them, and the robots get shocked.
If you are wearing the Chameleon Suit, just stop moving before he reaches you. By the time he hits you, it is too late to become invisible.
If any of the mini-bots, or Director D, stop moving, you have encountered a known glitch on Spy Island. You will have to reboot Poptropica and replay the hideout sequence. The problem should not happen twice.* If you have won when Director D stops, you can try walking back to Spy Headquarters on Main Street, to see if the game ends and you get the Island Medallion.
You get to the top, then stop!
you can't it goes off and on
Spy Island is island #6. After Spy Island is Nabooti Island #7
the pass code is BALDSPIES
If the minibots stop moving, you have no way to get them to plug into the yellow power balls (there are 2 at the bottom and 2 at the top). Unfortunately, there is a known glitch in the game that makes minibots or Director D stop attacking. The only known way to address this is to reboot Poptropica and replay the BAD hideout section. This "freeze-up" only affects about 10% of Spy Island players.
