promotional codes are basically like cheats,but they stopped letting them work in december 2008.howrse used to let people enter these cheats to get things that you would usually need a pass for,and they changed the codes alot.but it doesnt work anymore.
You select the center you would like (make sure you it is a good place), then choose the nights you would like your horse to stay, then you see the price and board your horse.
I prefer Howrse, but it depends on what you want out of the game. Howrse is more sophisticated and realistic. I also like the design of Howrse better, but some people really like Horseland. Howrse Helper is a Wiki-like 'fan site' for Howrse that is not located on the domain name howrse I've been to HH and it is NOT a part of howrse, but I reccomend it as it has many useful links and answers, and helped me a LOT with objectives.

Owlient is the company that made howrse. so far, howrse and babydow are the only owlient games in English. (there are others, but they are in french) babydow is fun too, if you're looking for a game like howrse.
