which one? the origional, the 2005 one; or the 2008 one? if the 08 one, use hunter sense to see where he is before he attacks and shoot him, over and over and over. when an icon appears on the screen to what it says & youll dive out of the way of the charge if it is the 2008 one go as far back as possible and look to see if you can see both cliffs it will jump down on one of the two and you can either Dodge it or shoot it but be careful if you shoot and don't dodge it will still chase you and then claw you like usual oh and you might want to use your 30-06 rifle

To kill the cougar I found that the best way was to wait until the cougar tries to attack, dodge it by using the nunchuck (a picture will appear), and then, after you get up, shoot the cougar. I just did this multiple times and the coug died.

To kill the bear you need to turn your hunters sense on and find the bear and wait until it stands up and then shoot it in the mouth. Repeat until it dies
