To get Aquila,you have to beat King Godwyn first,then go back to Angel Falls and go to the statue,there you will see Aquila.Talk to him then he will join your party.He will be Warrior level 88 and he will have alot of skill points to allcote.To get Patty on your team,you need to do a quest.I can't tell you how to do this quest though because I have not got there myself.You should go to Dragon quest wiki cause it will tell you how to do this quest.Patty will be a Theif level 28 with some skill points to allocate.For Sellma,you also have to do a quest and I amm not sure how to do this quest.When you do get her,she will be Priest level 1.

what do you mean? if you mean legacy bosses they can be unlocked by defeating corvus and then starting certain quests. i managed to battle rover by winning quests: a present from the past, perk up patty, and has sellma sold out
