If they call you a name that you want to be changed, why don't you interupt them and say something like- " If you don't mind I would like to be calle ____ instead of ______!" That would work, and your not being rude by saying that. Trust me, I say that to people all the time

∙ 12y agoIf you would like your family and friends to call you by a certain nickname, just tell them you'd prefer that name over your first name. They'll understand and get used to calling you by your nickname.
