If you're referring to information on the Q&A portion of Answers.com, then information posted there can be easily removed by clicking on the Improved Answer button below the answer. Then, delete any or all information you want removed.
Should you be referring to personal information posted in reference article, send an e-mail to the Support team (see Related link below) requesting its removal. Personal information about a public figure, on the other hand, is fair game.

Because members can update any information. Certain parts or queries are occasionally locked to prevent spam or inappropriate answers or information being added
As long as there are sensible contributions. Silly answers are removed within a short space of time in relation to when the answer was put on to ensure the site remains useful to people.
