You should have a USB cable with the camera. Connect it to your computer. Then open Windows Explorer (not internet Explorer) which you can get by right clicking on the start button, or going to Start, All Programs and Accessories. Then find it on the list of devices, open the folders on the camera and you can get to your photos. Set the view type in Explorer to Thumbnails and you will be able to see the photos. Pick what you need, select them and copy them and paste them onto your PC.
Depending on your computer, you can either use a USB cord, which comes with most digital cameras, or your memory card.
I'm not 100% familiar with Vista, but have you tried the camera wizard? Does Vista recognize your camera when it is attached? If so then all you need to do is open the folder that holds your photos and drag them where you wish to store themI usually plug in the camera, go to my computer and the camera has it's own symbol. It would download into My Photos. If you want you can download, for free, Picasa photo. I love it. It will save and date all your photos. You can email from there, etc.
On average they should last about 3 hours. When not using the camera, try not to keep it on because that could waste the battery. However also try not to turn it on and off constantly because it could damage the camera faster.
Have you tried to use windows search tool just click start ->search for photos/videos. This will search your haddrive for photos, you can then sort the photos by date and that should bring em up for you.
Yes if Manual Focus is Off!
The camera lens reflects off what the lens is pointed at so that you can see it through the screen on your camera.

There are two ways. 1. Instal Digital Photo Professional image processing software. Connect the USB cable to the camera and then connect to the computer. Start the DPP program, and do what you want with your photos. 2. Take the Cf card off your camera, plug it in a CF card reader and upload photos from it.
Using digital photography is generally easier and more economical than traditional film photography. With a film camera, you must purchase film again and again. You have to drop the film off and pay to have it developed, then you must pick it up again. You do not have the ability to alter or edit the photograph. With a digital camera, you have complete control over the editing of the pictures and there is no developing required. You may simply upload the photos to your computer, edit the photos at will and easliy share them with others. There is no film to buy and no waiting to view your pictures.
