You get a screwdriver and look on the back. You will see a small screw. If you have a small enough screwdriver for that screw, use it to pop the back off. But be sure to put the screw back on once your done. Don't loose it. You may also switch backs of the PokeWalker and put on the belt back (has a thing on the back to put on your belt).
