go into my documents and the EA Games folder then Sims 2 folder. From there navigate into the music folder. In this folder there will be a bunch of genres folders, drag and drop music from your My Music folder into the sims genre folders. The music you add can be found in the associated genre channel during game play. You can also delete unwanted music.

To get in the Music career on PC, you go to the computer and see if there is an opening for the Music track, if not, check again the next Sim day.
