Back off on the brake adjusters (this will require some knowledge as to how the adjusters operate), spray some penetrating oil on the hub area, give the drum a few gentle whacks with a hammer to break it loose then slide/wiggle the drum off.
Remove the wheel and tap the drums at back with a 'deadblow' hammer, rotating the drum as you do this. The brake shoes tend to hold drums on.
first you have to take the wheels off of the van,and then you have to take the tension off of the brake shoes. Next you will be able to remove the rear brake drums off of the vehicle. You may have to tap them with a hammer to break them free.
it could but you might need to trim the rear a little
Raise the vehicle, support it securely on jack stands. Remove the rear wheels. Hit the drums a few times with a heavy hammer around the outside edge. Pull the drums outward. If they are stuck, hit them harder.
Adjust the brakes shoes inward to allow room to just pull the drum off.
Remove the wheels, pry the drums off.
brake drums should pull off if not rusted on.
rear door-remove the door panel. back speaker carefully pry off grille cover and replace speaker
Remove bolts at center hub Slide axle out Remove spanner nut drums should slide off
hammer my friend
Brake drums are not attached with fasteners, they just pull off once wheel is out of the way.
Put the truck on stands ,take off both wheels and pull off the drums .Only take one side apart at a time and use the other as a referance.
