Answer Take a warm iron and some paper toweling and put the toweling down, hold the iron over it briefly and keep doing this until the wax gets warm and bleeds into the toweling. Be careful the iron is not too hot! Then take a light grid piece of sandpaper and lightly go back and forth on the red stain length-wise (do not press too hard) until the dye is out. After the dye is gone you can use a paste wax to bring up the shine.
Answer Try an ice cube on the wax to freeze it and then try scraping it off with a putty knife or razor blade. Use light pressure while doing this. (My concern is that, by heating the wax, some of the dye may work into the flooring.)

To remove red candle wax from carpet cover it with a paper kitchen towel and heat with a warm iron. The wax will melt and be absorbed by the paper.
the color has nothing to do with the candle at diffrent burning rate it is the wick. We found that color does make a difference. We bought the exact same candles except each candle was a different color. Found out that the white candle burned down the fastest, the red was next, and so on. So candle wax color does make a difference in the burning rate of a candle. ( My daughter had a science experiment)
The color in the candle flame shows the fuel used. It also shows temperature. The colder part of the flame is red and the closer the color is to white is the hottest. The blue color comes from the soot of the wick.

The colour has nothing to do with the length of time the candle burns for. It all depends on the chemical make-up of the wax and the wick. Some wicks are classed as slow burn. These have been inpregnated with paraffin wax as well.
You should always use an underlayment for hardwood floors. Use either Red Rosin paper or 15lb Fortifiber hardwood underlayment. Fortifiber is recommended, heavy duty and better quality vapor barrier.

yes the red candle will burn faster because if you color on you self with a red and white marker then if you try to wash it off the red marker will come off first. There is your answer.
Hardwood. All deciduous (leaf bearing) trees are hardwoods.

Mahogany is a hardwood.
This is a tough one, but the best method is using a paper towel. Heat an iron to medium hot and then place a piece of paper toweling over the red candle stain and place the iron on top for approx. 15 seconds. You will usually see the red seeping through onto the paper toweling. You may have to do this several times. Then you can use "Dawn dish soap" with hot water and use a tooth brush (if the candle spot is small) or a larger brush to scrub the area to get any excess off. The method of the iron and paper towel are excellent to get candle wax off of carpeting as well.
