Hence if two people were the same weight, but different heights, the taller person would have the lower BMI. In two people of the same height, but different weights, the lighter person would have the lower BMI.

so going to a gym and trying to turn any fatty areas into muscle will lower ur bmi try sit ups push ups and general running cycleing.

By losing weight through diet and exercise.27 is quite a high BMI and the only way to reduce it is to exercise and burn some of the excess fat. You can do this by going on a low calories, low carbs diet and by doing some exercise, that can be walking as well as cycling or running.

Body mass index is an index of your weight - and classify you as under-, correct, overweight, or obese.

The method of calculation is divide your weight in Kg by the square of your height in Metres. For example, if you are 70 kg and 1.71 m tall, the BMI would be 70/(1.71^2)=23.9

Generally anything between 19 to 25 is cosidered Normal, 25-30 is overweight and >30 is obese.

Less than 19 is underweight.

Well, what you do:

this is a 15 day diet, which works well. Eat 4 small, light meals a day, do 30 minutes of exersise (jogging, running, bench pressing, ect.) and no fatty foods.

you can go longer but it isn't recommended. indeed 15 days are safe, just don't overdo it because it isn't healthy
