use the avg antivirus scanner (free) to clean it out (scan and let it remove it).
No biggy, I just formatted my c drive and that fixd all my problems.
ps: I was unabel to delete the file, with AVG,or any thing else for that matter.
The spyware program 'PestPatrol' will remove it.
Use an antispyware app like xsoftspy.
What OS are you running? I checked for windows and could not even find it.
Here is what worked for me. First I turned off windows system restore. Second I ran Spybot S&D and Adawae thirds I did a search for c2mdz in the registry and deleted the key lastly I deleted the folder cd2ndz under program files that finally cured it. good luck
I got rid of it easily with bullguard anti virus. I just used the free trial and five of them came up where my other anti virus software and addware remover didn't even spot it. It even showed me how to remove one file from my backup files.
virus virus
AVG for windows seems to get rid of the downloader, but sometimes it comes back. i personally don't thonk you can get rid of them uless you are willing to do a full system restore. good luck!
It's not really a virus...
I had the same question. My AVG AntiVirus program said that it detected the Downloader.Swizzor tojan in the Kodak EasyShare update file from 2006-12-25, and in the bin/easyshare.exe program file. However, No, evidently AVG AntiVirus is wrong. A certain version of the AVG database incorrectly identified several benign programs as containing Swizzor when they don't.
How do I get rid of this Virus?
