Update the virus protection software and if that doesn't help get another program. Sometime you can work with the anti-virus people and they will come up with a fix. Maybe they dont know about it yet. Doesnt cost anything usually. Worth a try. Good luck.

∙ 13y agoOne way is to download a program called Ultimate Boot CD 4 Windows, and it has some anti-malware programs on it. With it, you can boot with a CD.
Another way to do it, if you have another computer, it to slave the drive and run the anti-virus / anti-malware from that computer, and clean it that way.

If Your Norton is not deleteing viruses, then you will need to delete norton and reinstall and update it through the norton updates then run it. If you do this you should be able to then delete the viruses, if this does not work, you will need to format and reload windows.

a lot of "free" anti-viruses wont work, some are the viruses themself. i have had a fake antivirus destroy my entire computer, then leave without a trace. so, if its Talk Talk, or Mcaffe, safe, if its spysherrif, or something like that, no. Click onto My Computer, click on the file that has (C at the end, click onto Program Files, and find SAV. Open up SAV and delete everything except for sav.exe, then try delete the folder. If it doesn't work, keep trying to delete sav.exe or the folder. This should stop System Antivirus from popping up but, as System Antivirus may still be on your control panel, it is like System Antivirus doesn't exist.
