Most reputable breeders will already have the ferret descented (it's not really a sweat gland that makes the stink, they are closely related to skunks and spray if not descented) and spayed or nutered before selling. If not, I would seriously question how reputable tyhe breeder is.

There will always be a 'skunky' scent, even after descenting. Spayed, descented females have the least stink, and it can be lessened further with regular bathing using a special ferret shampoo.

Do ferrets stink after you get their glands removed?

Ferrets have an odor that comes from their sebaceous glands in the skin that secretes an oily/waxy matter, which is a musk odor. Ferret that have not been altered will have a more pronounced odor during mating season (especially males - hobs), altered ferrets have less of a smell. The odor will accumulate on their bedding and must be kept clean and washed. The litter box must be cleaned daily and avoid feeding any ferret food that has fish ingredients, which makes their feces smell more. Getting a ferrets glands removed doesn't have anything to do with the skin odor.Ferrets will still have a musky smell that comes from the skin's oil glands and can be more pronounced if bathe frequently. Ferret's anal sacs are removed when they are descented, which is a different odor.

glands are not organs. Sebaceuos glands remove fat from body and only activate during pubirty these glands also remove toxins and cool the bosy off. Sweat glands secrete toxins through sweat and cool body as well these are activated in the body after birth these do not stink because there is no fat in the sweat.
