From my own personal experience, the best thing to do is start to distance yourself from this person. Don't totally blow them off or they might start rumors about you. Just be nice and slowly back off and make new friends. Then they'll start to get the idea that you don't want to be friends anymore. And if they give you a hard time about it and say that your being a total b, just confront them about why your distancing yourself from them. Over time your friendship will fade away and if they keep trying to be your friend, just try to ignore it. Because are if they talked bad about you once, odds are they'll do it again.
