Try to open a door and scare it out with a broom or other object (don't hit it). If that doesn't work try to gently pick it up, but avoid picking it up by the tail because most lizards will drop their tails. And of course try to not get bitten as lizards can harbor many dangerous diseases. Put it outside then wash your hands.

∙ 11y agoa) get pest control done often to reduce the chances of seeing a lizard in your room.b) In summer time they will come anyway, pickup up a long broom, and show them the door slowly , its a tricky exercise as they get scared and go fast and fall off the wall or ceiling and hide under the furniture.
c) if you know of any other way, please share as i am fed up of doing this exercise for 17 years as my wife cant stand them
