As the anaesthetic wears off (with time) the numbness should pass off. If this does not happen within 24 hours, you should go back to the medical professional who administered the anaesthesia and tell them of the problem.

you can freeze water in a styrofoam cup. then when it is frozen peel of the cup and just set the ice on your foot with a thin towel under it/on your foot. I have done it and it works.
