I read on another link that putting white vinegar in small dishes in each drawers can help or putting dryer sheets or baking soda...hope this helps
Air it out, with the outside air
In each drawer, place a briquet of charcoal (inside a sock to keep it from leaving black marks on things kept in the drawer), and a fabric softener sheet like the ones used in a clothes dryer.
Many people love the smell of new furniture just like some people like getting into a brand new car and smell the leather seats. Try "Febreeze' just a few squirts in the room with the new furniture. Also leave mid-sized small pretty bowls around the room with a little milk in them. Milk will absorb the odors (like when you paint a room) but be sure to change the milk at the end of the day. Keep windows open when you are home as the air will eventually evaporate these smells. Also, ornamental small table fountains are pretty to look at and will also absorb some of the smells. It doesn't take time for the smell to leave your furniture.
Buy a new backpack
Leave the new purse in the ventilation for a few days.
You can swap it for other furniture but I don't think you can get rid of it.
On a nice day you could leave the windows open.
There are many ways. One, get a new car. Two, hire a professional to get the smell out. That's all i have now.
Adding a diluted solution of Chlorine to the water should sanitize it and rid it of the bad smell
Febreeze.
Furniture , posters ect. cannot be sold for money:)
You will have to wait for a notification to rid the smell from the kids room in Virtual Families 2. The smell is from toxic chemical and you will get cortisone cream to rid the room of the smell.
