I got braces too abouta week ago, it helps if you eat yogurts, chicken noodle soup, and theres this soup called misuah from an Asian store that's really helpful because it has soft noodles that are really soft; you don't have to chew them. you can also eat ice cream; if your a big fan of ice cream, i told my mom that i had to eat it for dinner because my braces hurt really bad. but to get rid of the pain, i would try putting ice in your mouth for about 35 seconds, or cold water, and you can eat soups so that the warmness makes your sore teeth better, but until they get better eat the list of food that i named until it passes a week. i promise you it will get better by a week at the most.
advil helps your pain with your teeth, but it doesn't really help sore gums.
Orthodontic braces are generally not painful, and you shouldn't be afraid to get them because you are worried about pain. If you are in a great deal of pain from your braces, you should discuss it with your orthodontist.
Though a pill like Advil or Tylenol can help (I am an exception, lol), I find that putting an icepack to my mouth helps a bit (I just got braces).
No, you do not need to take Advil with a high-powered pain killer like Dilaudid. Never take more than one pain killer without a doctor's advice.
wax to protect your inner lips. If it is that sore pain from getting braces tightened, there isn't really a way to do anything but wait and take advil or aspirin or whatever painkilling thing.
when you are wearing braces they are slowly pulling or pushing your teeth in a certain direction, the pain is caused by the shifting of your teeth and the braking of the roots that hold your teeth in place
I highly don't recommend it because if you keep taking unnecessary Advil or any other paid med. you will develop an ulcer.
Um..Ouch:P If its bruised, put some ice on it. If it feels like internal pain, like your stomach is hurting, then take Advil or Tylenol. !(:
Unfortunately, there is no way to make the pain go away. I would recommend taking medicine like Tylenol or Advil, this won't get rid of the pain entirely, but it will definitely help get rid of some pain.
Advil
no. i have braces. your teeth don't get sore until after they're put on. I recommend taking advil before no they pute glue(tastes really bad) on your braces then they shine a light up to it and it dries the glue no pain envolved.
advil
Ibuprofen worked the best for me when I had braces but any pain killer would take the pain away
