i accidentally set my laptop to do the same thing in BIOS. i am not really sure how to reset it but if you enter your BIOS config. you should be able to search how to stop it. you can enter BIOS by pressing f10 if you have vista or esc. if you have xp.
Use Comodo System Utilities to get rid of it .
Dry it first.
for starters you can get rid of vista.
Stop windows firewall service.
Format the drive and install a new operating system in its place.
Set your computer's time and date.
You'd need to boot from some other drive and then use a utility to format the hard drive. One that you can get for free is called DBAN ("Darik's Boot and Nuke"), which will not only format the drive but completely erase everything that's on it. You'd then need to get some other installation media to install a new OS on the hard drive.
Buy a windows 7 boot disk, and install it, and ittl wipe it, after that, install AVG Here: free.avg.com
Trashbin it

I suspect that you have System Recovery turned on. You need to turn it off and then boot to safe mode to remove the virus (most of it). Check the Start/Help for how to do this.
your choice, but DO NOT USE ON A FIRE
