Lift the seat and you should see two little black plastic knobs. pull them up one at a time and the corresponding side panel will open. If not then play with it a little, dont force it.
Just unseat the scooter by the left side, then push the stand pushing the scooter backward
Vespa's are iconic scooters and they still have a 'similar' shape some 60 years on from when they were first manufactured, testament to classic designing from the beginning. The classic P range, an all metal bodied, geared, two stroke scooter was as popular as ever until new emissions laws put paid to its production. These scooters could be ridden every day come rain or shine and wouldn't miss a beat. Maintenance could also be carried out by the owners as they were easy to work on due to their simple nature. The new 4 stroke equivalent scooters have changed somewhat making them more modern looking but still keeping the ever recognisable Vespa lines. Have a look at some other scooter manufacturers models and compare them to the Vespa. The Vespa looks better doesn't it!? Owning a Vespa is not just about the scooter. It's a way of life. Buy one and you'll see what I mean! "Just nipping out on the KYMCO for a ride" sounds wrong. "I'm off for a ride on my Vespa" just sounds better, don't you think? Millions of Vespa owners can't be wrong can they?
try taking the left side panel off and I'm telling you now its bloody hard to find!
It will be located on top of the cylinder. if its a scooter look under the seat. You may have to take the side panels off, there should be a thick rubber lead connected to the plug. This should just pull off the top of the spark plug. After that you will need a deep socket to undo the spark plug. usually 14mm or 12mm for scooters or bikes. Hope that helps :)
you pull them off
star by taking off the side door panels then take of the corner panel then remove a 1/2 srew and there its off star by taking off the side door panels then take of the corner panel then remove a 1/2 srew and there its off
Im pretty sure you have to take the side panels off (:
You have to click on the scooter.
You don't have to take the seat off to get at the battery actually. there are two plastic panels on either side of the bike that cover the battery and air filter, the panels are behind your carbs. they pop off (a couple rubber nubs hold them on). you'll then be able to see the battery assembly. It slides out, you'll see it. But if you did want to take the seat off, its bolted in on either side (2 bolts total) which you will also see when you take off the side panels, seat comes off after that and then you can take the gas tank off (theres only one bolt holding it under the seat). :)
undo the bolt der but i want to take off my break on my scooter but i dont no if i want to. B:
