If by "other games" you mean the expansion packs, then yes. In order to install the expansion packs (Sims 2 University, etc.) you need to have Sims 2 already installed. If you don't want to spend money on that game as well as the expansion pack, find a friend who has the Sims 2 discs, and borrow them. Install the game and then install your expansion pack right afterward. That way, you don't need the regular Sims 2 disc to play with your expansion pack. You just have to have the disc for the expansion pack you installed. (However, if you ever have to uninstall the game, you'll need to borrow Sims 2 again to reinstall it.)
You must install the expansion packs in the order in which they were released or it won't work.Insert the first CD of the first expansion pack you want to install into your CD drive on your computer. Autoplay will run the installation executable automatically. Then follow the directions on screen during the installation process. It will tell you what to do and how to do it as you go along. When that expansion pack finishes, insert the next one and repeat the process that you did for the first expansion pack. Continue doing this until all the expansion packs you have are installed. Remember, you have to install them in the order in which EA Games released them, or else they won't work.Um....not exactly. I did not buy my expansion packs in release order and my game works just fine. Not a problem at all. Keep your discs though because if you do install out of release order you will need the discs to update files, the prompts on the screen will help you. Just put in the disc it asks for. However do remember that Makin Magic should be the very last expansion installed :)
If your buying it new, yes. I never recommend buying a Sims Game used however, the code might have already been registered online. If you buy it new it'll come with all of the Disc(s) University - 2 Discs Nightlife - 2 Discs Open for Business - 1 Disc Pets - 2 Discs Seasons - 2 Discs Bon Voyage - 2 Discs Freetime - 2 Discs Apartments - 2 Discs All Stuff Packs are 1 Disc
Yes, you can. You can either do this buy purchasing expansion discs, or by ordering them on the internet.
Check that the original game has been installed to it's default directory path. Because the expansion assumes that this is the case. If the expansion can't find the main game where it should be, it won't install. well you do need the first game it will ask you too put in diablo 2 discs to do install so yes you do need diablo 2 for diablo 2:LOD intaliation. i think its simply using info off diablo 2 for the expation so thay didt have to put more info on the diablo 2:LOD CD.
The hard disc does not play any discs. The PS3 will already play CDs DVDs and Blu Ray discs
2 disks . One for the sims 3 game . The second one for the ambitions expansion .
PhotoBooth can be installed from the Mac OS X (Leopard) installation discs.
its very simple to download a expansion. if your game launcher already downloaded the game then just use your activation code on ur mini card board CD holder and enter it. if u want the burning crusade tool bar insurt ur discs and play them on your computer
They are packs of cool stuff that you add on to other discs, such as Sims 2 bon voyage. It lets you go on holiday!! YAY!!
Once you install the game via the game disc you will still need to patch the game. This usually take just about as long as installing the game does.
Morally, I tell you to call Dell and pay the 9.95 for the shipping. You could probably find the disks on a torrent website.
