How do you get smooth diamond and pearl in tppc?

First, just catch Pokemon. Some of them (by randomness) hold rough diamonds and rough pearls. Once you have 10 rough diamonds/pearls, go to the research lab. (Under challenges, and above logout). Its on the left side, and it will have links to SS Anne, etc. Go to the research lab.

Once there:

10 Rough Diamonds and a Fire Pokemon in your Pokemon slot 1 to make smooth diamond

10 Rough Pearls and a Water Pokemon in your Pokemon slot 1 to make smooth pearl

Effects:

Smooth Pearl: Attach to Magmar and put it in slot 1. Press evolve starter. It'll take you to the evolution gym. Once you beat the level 25 eevee, your Magmar will evolve into Magmortar.

Smooth Pearl: Attach to Electibuzz and put it in slot 1. Press evolve starter. It'll take you to the evolution gym. Once you beat the level 25 eevee, your Electibuzz will evolve into an Electivire.
