When the songs were erased from your iPod, you can never get it back, maybe you have plugged in your iPod to other PC/laptop that has iTunes. You should connect your iPod only to the PC where you have installed your own itunes.

How do you take Christmas songs off your IPod and put them back on at Christmas time and only play those songs?

The easy way to do what you want to do is to make a file called Christmas songs and list the songs in that file. It will stay on your IPod, but you just don't listen to them. You could also go in Itunes and uncheck the songs in your library that are Christmas songs. Do a sync of your library to your IPod and the songs will stay in the library, but not be on the IPod. When you want them back go in to Itunes and check them, sync, and they will be back on your IPod. If you want only Christmas songs you would check all the songs that are not Christmas and sync. Either way the songs stay in your Itunes library, but are not on the IPod.

If i buy another ipod will i have to re-purchase all my songs?

No, you don't. If you purchase another iPod, just extract the songs from the old iPod and put it on the new one. If all the songs are in your library, just drag all the songs onto the iPod from your Music library.

What happens to the songs when you unlock the ipod touch?

When you unlock a passcode that has been forgotten on your iPod Touch, all of your songs will unfortanetly be deleted, and you will have to put all of them back on. But if you are CHANGING your passcode, off of the settings button on your iPod Touch, nothing will happen to your current memory.

Can you restore an iPod without losing all of your songs?

No, you cannot. The Restore is a last-ditch-effort feature when something is wrong on your iPod, so losing all of your songs is going to happen. You should be able to easily drag the songs from your iTunes library back onto the iPod if you put it in the library (if you didn't, do it next time so you won't have to buy all of your songs again!)

Do you lose all your songs when you jailbreak iPod touch 2g?

Your sister lost your ipod and bought you a new one and you made a copy of hers and got all your songs back but now it will only let her get new songs even if you buy them how do you get new songs on?

There is a bit of information missing here. If your problem is that your new iPod will not accept songs, but only when your sister is able to drag the songs on there, then it is that you are not importing the songs onto your iPod right.
