Well, there are 2 ways to get Mew.
One is if you went to a pokémon convention in America in 1997. You would have gotten the rainbow ticket code to get to 8 and 9 island. You would find mew as well as ho-oh on 8 island and deoxys on 9.
The only other way is to use cheats but the bad things about using cheats is it takes fun out of the game and if you try and get mew with them mew won't listen to your commands so it would be pointless to have him if you wanted him on your team.
