Until last year, WDW travel packages were not a very good deal. However, since the introduction of the Magic Your Way ticket and related packages, most of the discounts that Disney offers are extensions of their travel packages. You just have to find the package that matches your travel needs. For example, they offer a Dining Plan that can save you money if you like to eat a table-service restaurants every day. They are offering it for FREE for a limited time this fall, potentially saving a family of four $700 or more (depending on the length of your vacation and who's in the family). For room-only reservations, the only "almost sure thing" is the AAA and CAA discount, which is 10-30 percent. They have also offered discounts to Annual Passholders; the best specials are offered during value or regular season. Check the Disney World web site frequently, as some specials are posted there (especially Golf packages). Above all, become familiar with the various "seasons" at WDW. They are different from other travel destinations. Room rates are based on the season and level of hotel. Sometimes changing your vacation by a week or two or changing from a Deluxe Resort to a Moderate or Value Resort makes a signficant different in your rate. One of the biggest money savers is to NOT stay at a Disney World Resort. Stay at a local hotel. One place I have found absoutely fantastic is Tropical Palms Resort. It is a permanat trailer park. They are about 10 minutes away from the entrances to any Disney park, if you take Disney highway. They are very nice cottages, with full kitchen applainces, pool, and laundromat. This brings me to a next huge money saver, don't eat every meal in the park. If you stay at a Disney Resort, you aren't allowed to have food. This means you have to eat in the resort ar at the park for every meal. If you stay elsewhere, you can save a ton on food cost. Don't buy things in the parks that aren't relevant to Disney. There are lots of toys and such you can get back home. Defenately get a autograph book, and souvineers such a collectables. Pin trading is also fun. This is just a suggestion, but I would get a Bounce Pass. They are very flexible, so you aren't confined to one park a day. Go to one park in the day and another at nigh. This also allows you to visit a park more than once.

Walt Disney died long before Disney World was built in Florida. So he never ate anything there.

At 80$ a ticket for 0ne day and multiple hundreds for multiple days, Food, Merchandise. A LOT of money comes from merchandise, but I would say that food alone has the highest profit margins, plus they have beneficial contracts with certain companies to stock only certain brands of food. Also, you should consider the Hotels nearby, I think the Disney Hotels are technically separate, but they are intimately related to the Park.
Discounts for tickets and amenities at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida can be found through the Walt Disney Company at the park proper. There are also many websites that also offer discounts to Walt Disney World.

Some Disney World Packages include a food plan. These plans provide tickets which can be redeemed for food items within the different Disney parks as well as showcase several Disney hotels that offer their guests an on-site food court.
No. You can't bring any food or beverages. Unless if you have a medical condition, or a special need diet. In which you have to eat. But you can always hide in in your bag. But that's under your risk. :)
Maybe, because i think Walt Disney World lets you should call or ask! If you live in Canada its no problem but if you do not live there, try to ask someone. GOOD LUCK!
