First you push down and turn to the left.
Be sure the system has cooled down first.
There is no coolant cap. You add through the expansion chamber (opaque bubble to the left of motor.)
Add the coolant into the coolant reservoir. Be sure the engine is cool when you remove the cap off the reservoir.
Take radiator cap off, fill radiator with coolant, put cap back on!
Open the radiator cap and pour coolant in. If you're filling an empty system, you'll want to leave the cap off, and run the engine for 30 minutes or so to 'burp' out any air in the system, then top your coolant off again.
Fill the vehicle with coolant and leave the filler cap off. Start the vehicle and keep adding fluid as the coolant level drops. When the motor is warm enough for the thermostat to open up you will see the coolant level drop quickly. Put in more coolant until it is full then shut off the motor and put the filler cap back on.
Look at the radiator, it should be in the front. It has a cap on it, take it off and you can put coolant in side.
don't know what year it is but most new cars don't have a radiator cap anymore. my 2013 model is on the coolant tank so do it when it's cold.
step1: remove coolant cap step2: put coolant in step3:put cap back on
There is not a radiator cap, there is a coolant reservoir and it has a plastic cap that controls the pressure in the coolant circuit.
Replace thermostat , fill with coolant then leave the rad cap off for 30 minutes at idle to bleed air out and top off the coolant; that will do it.
You must make sure that you have purged all air from the coolant system. An air bubble will not allow proper flow of coolant and could also cause the engine to overheat. Add coolant into resevior and leave top off with engine running. Add more coolant as required. If temp gets too high with cap off and coolant starts to back out of resevior, then replace cap and allow to cool. Remove cap after cool and top up coolant again and repeat procedure.
Take the cap off the radiator and open the petcock on the bottom of the radiator.
