∙ 14y agoThe cat will not willingly come down the wire to the first floor. You will have to try to encourage this by chasing it and keeping it by the opening. Eventually it will jump on the wire, and that is your cue to keep it from coming back up. Once it is downstairs, it will drink the milk and follow you.
*There is an "auto-chase" routine which starts if you "click on the cat" when there is milk downstairs. A series of chases will end with the cat going down the wire.

Then go back into the Diner, and ask the waitress to fill the bowl with milk. Go back into the farmhouse, and put down the bowl. Go upstairs and into the bathroom. Click on the water faucet and Whiskers will jump. To chase her downstairs, click on her to start a short chase sequence. After one or two times, she will go downstairs to the milk. Now the cat will follow you back to Charlie's Carrot Surplus.

∙ 14y agoThe cat will follow you once you have given her some milk. Get the bowl from the first floor and take it to the diner. The waitress will fill it for you. Go back and set the bowl where you found it (you have no choice), then climb upstairs to get the cat down. The cat is in the shower and can be chased with the faucet.
It takes a complicated series of hops to get the cat to climb down the electric light cord. The simplest way is to click on the cat. An automatic chase will occur. After two or three chases, the cat will go down the electric cord. Once it drinks the milk, it will follow you back to Charlie's.
