6x steel pipe - mugged from wendigos (near galbadia garden)
6x Malboro Tentacle - mugged from malboros (in esthar's grandidi forest) - if you cant beat them, just play cards with the person on the docks in balamb garden, he has some you can win
6x Remedy+ (Buy 60 remedies from any item shop and refine them to remedy+'s using the Med LV UP ability from Alexander
if all else fails, wait until you get to ultimicia's castle, you can draw it off one of the monsters.

Why was the Knights of Round summon left out from Final Fantasy VIII?
If you look at all the summons throughout the series, you see that there's a core set that appear in almost every game (Ifrit, Shiva, Leviathan, for example) and then some unique ones that only appear in one or two games (FF4 - Azura, FF6 - Valigarmanda, FF7 - Knights of the Round, FF8 - Doomtrain, etc). So Knights of the Round was never really 'left out' of FF8. FF8 included the usual core ones, and a few uniques, just like FF7 did, and so did the earlier FF games.
