Behind the door handle is a small, 3/8" diameter plastic circle, it fits flush with the black plastic. Remove the circle with a tiny screwdriver or the sharp point of a knife. Behind it is a Phillips screw, remove it.
Carefully remove the black backing trim around the door handle, you have to pull the handle completely open to get it off.
You don't have to remove the wood trim piece to get the door panel off, in fact most advise to leave it in place, its easy to crack it. If you want to take it off, start by lifting it from the back edge until the two fasteners release, then slide it gently backwards to release the front two fasteners. Look behind it as you remove it make sure the rear fasteners release before you pull back on it to release the front.
Look below the door handle and you will see a Phillips screw. Remove it. It is about 3" long.
Using an appropriate tool, run it along the bottom edge of the door to separate the door card from the door. It is held in place by 10 or so "fir tree" clips. They are easily broken and about $6 each at the dealer, be careful.
There is a large retainer clip behind the door handle that has to be pulled loose. Use firm, steady pressure, pulling out until it comes loose.
Once all the clips are out, pull up on the door panel and lift it over the lock actuator and the edge of the window.
There are connectors on the back for the speaker and the puddle light. The speaker connector simply pulls to disconnect, the puddle light has a metal clip on it that must be removed before the plug will come off.
Installation is a reverse of the above. Make sure the big clip is seated behind the door handle, if the plastic part of the big clip came loose from the door when you removed it, put it back before you try to put the door panel back on.
Make sure the door panel is hooked over the edge of the window, make sure the door actuator is threaded through the panel.
Be very careful with the fir tree clips, get under the door to make sure they are lined up before you push them in. They are very easy to break and expensive to replace.
