Assuming you mean EVAP and Cat, these are two separate problems. To come even close to telling you what can be done to correct the problems we are going to need to know what codes are set in the ECM. There are too many possibilities to just guess. Your local auto parts store can read the codes for you at no cost. Get the codes and repost.
You start by figuring out what's going on that's causing it to fail, then you repair as needed.
I would drive 20-50 miles to reset the computer. Depends on what kind of emission test you are talking about. Do you mean the emission test for a state inspection?
150 you would be safe, could be as little as 75
you need to drive between 40 ti 50 miles to pass emission test , if the light comes back before that , you need to fix your car
Two or more complete drive cycles should do it. A drive cycle would include a cold start, driving 10 miles or so, some miles at highway speeds then shut down and cool off.
7Q11?!
Usually a problem in the emission control system - Have vehicle scanned to determine the problem
The computer was reset shortly before going for emissions testing and has not yet been able to collect data. You will need to drive the vehicle for at least 50 miles before testing can be done.
The DTE is reset by filling the gas tank. If this does not reset it then the Tripminder needs service such as cleaning all contacts or replacement.
50 to 100 miles
reset what ???
Unplug battery for 30 minutes then plug back on that will reset the ecm
Assuming the battery was disconnected during the process, you need to drive it. It may take a 100 miles or more and several cold start-up drive cycles with some city and highway miles. The fuel level in the fuel tank should also be kept between 1/4 and 3/4 full.
