The connectors appear to be complicated but they are simple friction clamps. You can use pliers and squeeze the opposing tits together and then pull the tube away from the filter....it is difficult to do this in one operation. There is probably a special tool to do this. I can do this with my fingers, no pliers needed. First use the pliers to flex the clamp...now try to use your fingers and pull away from the filter while pressing the clamp tits..with your fingers (TITS no offense, simply a mechanic's term)
If there is no fuel filter on the fuel lines or near the engine or fuel tank then it has a permanent filter mounted inside the fuel tank that requires no maintenance.
Read your question again. All I can tell you with the information you provided is that the fuel filter is located somewhere between the fuel tank and the engine. Follow the fuel lines and you will find it.
The fuel filter and pump are located under the rear seat. Look at the bottom of the seat and see two tabs; push these in and lift up seat. The black oblong panel is the pump and filter cover. Gently but firmly pry this panel loose from the sealent that holds it down. Do not cut, because wiring and fuel lines are very close under cover. You will see the filter with a ground wire and two fuel lines attached, gently pull the filter loose from it's clamp, squeeze the fuel line clamps to release.
first need spl.tool to releace fuel lines from filter. very ez when you get tool.
with the ignition switch OFF, break the fuel lines loose slowly. there may be some fuel leak out, but that is normal.
follow fuel lines to filter. remove lines from filter and fit lines to new filter.
trace fuel lines to filter, disconnect lines from filter, fit lines to new filter
If it is not located somewhere between the fuel tank and the engine, then it is in the fuel tank. Follow the fuel lines to find it.
The fuel filter is located in the framing on the driver side just in front of the gas tank. Kinda hard to get to, lines are also a pain to get loose.
separate the lines from the filter and fit the lines onto the new filter. just trace the fuel lines to find the filter
This is fuel injected application Kia vehicle. The EFI in-line fuel filter will be located undercar aft of the fuel tank on the engine intake fuel lines.
The fuel filter is to the passenger side and above the fuel tank. You will have to loosen the two bolts that hold the fuel tank up to move the tank down slightly to remove the fuel lines going to the filter
