All character performers at the Disney Theme Parks are required to audition. Face characters, or character look-alikes, need to meet certain physical prerequisites such as height, body type, hair and skin coloring. They also need performing skills. Disney holds auditions at the park Casting Center and occasional out-of-town-dates.
